COUSINEAU, Ronald Francis – of Clio, age 92, died April 1, 2018 at Gulf Regional Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie officiating. The family will receive visitors on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 1-8 PM at the funeral home and on Saturday from 3PM until time of service at 4PM. Memorial contributions can be made to the VFW Post 1452 in Clio.
Ronald was born March 31, 1926 in Flint, Michigan to the late Ralph and Sarah (Warner) Cousineau. He grew up in the Clio area and attended Clio Schools. Ronald served his country in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946. On October 9, 1948 he married Nancy Hodgman in Birch Run, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 1988 he worked for the Flint Journal as a Printer for 33 Years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Clio VFW Post 1452. Ronald enjoyed fishing and spending winters with his wife in Florida for 29 years.
Surviving are: Wife of 69 years Nancy; Children Martin (Janet) Cousineau, Blair (Susan) Cousineau, Kent (Laurie) Cousineau , Stuart (Linda) Cousineau, Nick (Debbie) Cousineau, Jeffrey (Ella) Cousineau; 18 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; Siblings, Bob (Mary) Cousineau, Gloria Wood, Diane (Dave) Barker.
