Nancy Louise Sylvester
Age 76 of Owosso passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Memorial Healthcare.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am Saturday October 28, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Dieudonne Ntakarutimana officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Friday from 4pm to 8pm with a rosary being prayed at 7pm.
Nancy was born January 10, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of William and Matilda (Andres) Weckler. She married Ronald Sylvester at St. John Vianney Church in Flint on August 19, 1960; he predeceased her on June 25, 2015.
Nancy was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was also an active volunteer at her children's schools as they were growing up and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Nancy was a dedicated Administrator for 16 years at Alternative Services, Inc where she was very compassionate with her clients and staff.
Nancy is survived by her children Lynn Ann Winch, James R. Sylvester, Daniel W.(Shelley) Sylvester, April L. (Kevin) Krupp and Kristina (Randy) Weckler-Coleman; one grandson Randy Sylvester; granddaughter Kora Krupp; two brother Donald J. Weckler and Jerry W. (Darlene) Weckler; several nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Ronald, sister-in-law Laura Weckler and her parents.
