PUGLIA-FRIEDL, Barbara Marie. – of Montrose, Michigan and Winter Haven, Florida, age 85, died on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at McLaren Flint. Funeral services will be held 1PM Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Hal Phillips officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven, Florida.
Barbara was born May 5, 1935 in Buffalo, New York to the late Leslie and Thressa (Burroughs) Plaze. She married Vincent Puglia, Sr., he preceded her in death in 1984. Barbara later married Andy Balastri, he preceded her in 2002. She enjoyed the last 15 years married to her beloved, Jon Friedl. Barbara enjoyed cooking, playing Pinochle and Bingo, trips to the casino, and spending her winters in Winter Haven, Florida. She had many friends and loved to be around people.
Surviving are: Loving husband, Jon Friedl; Children: Les (Susan) Puglia, Vince (Susan) Puglia, Joel (Michelle) Puglia, and Deborah Plyman; Many grandchildren and several great grandchildren; Brother, Les Plaze; Sisters in law: Mildred Gavin, and Sally Wendzik; Many other loving family members and friends.
