Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and faithful servant of God, Glen Earl Fitzpatrick, age 92, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, entered into his eternal rest on November 4, 2025, enveloped in Jesus’ presence, and surrounded by the love and prayers of his family. Born on November 14, 1932, in Kennett, Missouri, to Euther and Jewell Fitzpatrick, Glen was the eldest of four children. He grew up in the farming communities of southeast Missouri, where faith, family, and hard work shaped the foundation of his life. From an early age, Glen displayed a tireless work ethic and a mind for problem-solving. Throughout his teenage years, and after graduating high school in 1951, he worked alongside his father and uncle on the farm before moving to Flint, Michigan, in 1952. Shortly thereafter, he began what would become a 37½-year career with General Motors’ Buick Motor Division as a millwright and team leader. Known for his exceptional skill and integrity, Glen was often the one to whom others turned to when a problem seemed impossible. He received multiple monetary awards from Buick for suggestions – process improvements – saving the corporation thousands of dollars. His dedication, strong work ethic and steadfast character earned him the respect of his colleagues and superiors alike.
On March 27, 1954, Glen married the love of his life, Shirley Bea Graham. Together they shared 71 years of marriage marked by deep faith, devotion, and love for family. Their home was always open, their table always welcoming, and their lives a testimony to God’s faithfulness. He was known for never meeting a stranger, talking easily with anyone in any situation, and great storytelling. His sharp wit and quick smile, coupled with keen insight were matched only by his sincerity and wisdom. He was loyal to his church congregation, and his word was his bond. Above all, Glen’s greatest passion was his relationship with Jesus Christ. A licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI), he served as an associate pastor, preacher, and lifelong member of Mt Morris Apostolic Church, and later South Flint Tabernacle where he served on the Pastoral Board and mentored many young ministers who were blessed by his wisdom and example. Glen was deeply committed to his spiritual calling, delivering countless sermons that reflected his love for Scripture and his desire to see others grow in their walk with God. Glen had a gift for speaking truth with grace—whether from the pulpit, across the table, or in quiet conversation. He never met a stranger, and his words often carried both comfort and conviction.
A devoted student of the Word, Glen loved to study Scripture and had an extensive library of theological works and study materials. But even more than study, Glen loved sharing what he learned—helping others grow closer to the Lord he loved so deeply. His faith was not just something he spoke of; it was something he lived every day, with kindness and humility. Those who knew Glen will remember his wisdom, compassion, and unwavering faith in God’s promises. Glen is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley; his sons, Kenneth Earl (Tamara) Fitzpatrick and Kerry Glen (Kerry Leigh) Fitzpatrick; and his grandchildren, Kara, Sharon (Daniel) Batiste, and Rebecca Fitzpatrick. He was preceded in death by his parents, Euther and Jewell; his brother, Lynn; and his sisters, Shirley Ann (Revoir) and Barbara Sue (Ball).
A celebration of Glen’s life and faith will be held at South Flint Tabernacle on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. G3450 S. Saginaw St., Burton, MI 48529, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery.

Glen’s legacy of faith, love, and steadfast devotion will continue to inspire all who knew him. Though he has gone home to be with the Lord, his life remains a testimony to the grace and goodness of God.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” — 2 Timothy 4:7-8
