GONZALES, Michael Elliot - Of Flint, age 35, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at McLaren Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 1pm Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on October 15, 1990, the son of Mario Gonzales and Mitzi Bell. Micheal's smile and laugh was infectious and he loved deeply. but, even more he was deeply loved. Micheal loved spending time with his son and family every chance he had. He enjoyed swimming on warm summers and going to the movies with his son on the weekends. He loved rooting for his team "The Detroit Lions" for every game. As a kid he liked to skateboard with his childhood friends and living his life like every second counted. He passed down his love of Legos and Pokemon to his son who will cherish and keep Micheal legacy alive. Michael was very intelligent, and hardworking and loved to see the aftermath of his hard work. He will forever be remembered by how great of a father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, grandson and friend he was to everyone in his life.
Surviving are son, Cristiano Gonzales;
mother, Mitzi Bell (Danny);
sister, Nevaeh Gonzales;
grandparents, Oralia Gonzales and Karen Bell and Earl Bell (Barb);
many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mario and grandfather, Raul Gonzales.
